On Tuesday, 27.05.25, the 4th and 5th grade students took part in an exciting time-travel experience in Palamuse, where we visited the Oskar Luts Parish School Museum. The guided tour gave an informative overview of Oskar Luts’s life and his school years.

The most memorable part was the workshop “School Lesson for Second Winter Children,” which took us back to the times of Spring (“Kevade” famous Estonian book written by O. Luts). The students got to try writing with a quill and ink, solve old-fashioned arithmetic problems, and practice reading in Gothic script. For the students, it was an educational and fun experience that vividly brought the school life of that era to life.
