TORE is a non-profit youth organisation that works with students and schools in order to help to develop and better young people’s social skills.
Even during February school break Mäetaguse students could spend time at our school in a fun and useful way taking part in TORE meetings. Students talked about their own as well as other students’ positive personaity traits, the different roles that every person plays and the expectations that go along with them. In the meeting they drew pictures and made up stories about good and bad children. The students discussed about bad behaviour- whether it possible for a child or a young person to change their behaviour, and also, is it possible for a „good child“ to become a badly behaving child. The students also discussed the topic of people’s feelings, coping with anger and problem solving, they acted out problem solving situations and did short drama performances.
The students enjoyed the TORE meetings and gave only positive feedback.
The meetings were carried out by our youth workers Marina and Katrin.
