Camp Aqua est Vitale 21. August sekretar
At the end of August some students of Mäetaguse Põhikool took part in a camp Aqua est Vitale in Lohusuu together with ohter young people from Lohusuu and Raja. The main topic of the camp was water safety, flora and fauna of Lake Peipus (Peipsi) and the culture of the lakeside villages. The students discussed laws regarding fishing and poaching and they also tried out fishing themselves. The weather was nice and children enjoyed the waterside activities the most. They learned how to help if somebody gets injured, how to canoe safely, and the students also got some fishing tips and those who wanted were even taught how to swim.
Out students were accompanied by Katrin Saks.
