Estonian Independence Day celebrations 25. February sekretar
Our school celebrated the Estonian Independence Day on the 21st of February (the important national holiday is on the 24th of February).
To honour and celebrate our wonderful country the whole school family enjoyed being and creating things together. We made beautiful paper art based on a traditional Estonian motive called kaheksakand or eight-pointed star. We watched film clips that were made by students inspired by various Estonian films. We danced traditional Estonian dances in front of the school house and sang beautiful hymns and songs that are meaningful for our nation.
We feel grateful for the students and teachers who want to do things together. And we are proud and happy to live in Estonia!
