Virumaa Mathematics Competition 04. December sekretar
On 23 October there was a competition for solving math problems – the XXVI Virumaa Mathematics Competition. The first part of the event was individual which meant that each student had to solve 15 multiple-choice math problems. The second part was based on teamwork where students had to work together for 60 minutes and solve another 15 problems. The tasks and problems were about percentage calculations, number theory, algebra, geometry as well as the history of mathematics. There were also word problems that demanded careful reading and focusing. The students who represented our school were Annette Bogdanov, Isabel Mägi, Kaur Nõmmemees, Mattias Ets. They did well and are now richer in experience.
