World Teachers’ Day 07. October sekretar
Our school celebrated World Teachers’ Day on October 2nd. As a tradition, the power was given to the year nine students who acted as teachers and school administration. They gave lessons and looked after younger students while teachers could have some time off in the school library with snacks and chatting. The power was regained around noon, and thankfully, the school was still intact with all the children in it.
At two o’clock, all the teachers from our county were invited to get together in a reception and a surprise concert. A number of teachers from Alutaguse county kindergartens and schools were honoured and thanked with a gift and flowers. And the surprise guests or performers were well known Estonian musician and actor Jaan Pehk and Märt Avandi.
