On October 3, the school concert "Mandolin Madness" was held at our school. Three young men - Kristjan Kuusmik, Sten Aamer and Tanel Sakrits - they are united by the band name "Mando Trio". We heard intense folk songs and instrumental music, as well as folklore from Alutaguse municipality. The concert ended with a fun joint dance of the barefoot waltz.

Thank you for the lively and interesting concert!

On the 6th of October our school had celebrated the Teachers' day. Traditionally, on that day our 9th grade students were giving the lessons to others and the teachers were engaged in some fun activities. At the end of the school day the concert took place.

On behalf of the Mäetaguse basic school, we would like to congradulate all of the teachers out there and wish them spark, joy and fun with their not-so-easy, but extremely important work.

Traditionally, our school family spends the first Friday of the new school year outside in nature. This year, grades 1.-3. went to Toila, 4.-6. cycled to Pagari, where a small picnic was held and the 7th-9th grade stayed near the school, where they learned to play disc golf.
